I was just thinking today about how superfical and pretentious everyone in my year actually is. They all have this completely diluted idea that they are infact unique and INDIE. They believe or at least claim to have the belief that a person cannot be cool if they are not extraordinary or an 'individual'. The irony of the situation is that they infact like and enjoy the music of many 'well-known' or 'popular' bands , especially from the 60s , 70s , 80s and 90s because those decades had so much more ''SUBSTANCE". But then I wonder how they can be cool if they worship bands such as Nirvana , Sonic Youth and The Beatles , as each of these bands are very popular and are not exactly an original claim of choice for ones favourite band. So it just gets more and more ironic!

But what is cool? I don't think cool actually exists. I just think people have different interests and talents and some of them are more popular or are regarded higher than others.

I hate high school.

The Cure and My Birthday

At the moment I am listening to my ipod and The Cure. Infact I am listening to the song "plainsong". Yeah it is awesome. I remember being in a music store a few weeks ago and this song was playing...kind of motivating.

The Longest Post Yet

So here I am attempting to publish the longest post yet , it should be quite the challenge. I mean , I have no problem rambling but I actually want to make this post somewhat...well interesting. Now I am thinking "why did I start this post without thinking what the hell I was going to write about?". Damn. Okay, I am going to have to type whatever insignificant thought comes into my head. Just thinking about the word 'significant' , I still remember how my year 4 teacher told me how to remember how to spell it. He told me to remember it like this SIGN-IF-I-CANT , pretty groovy. Now I am thinking about the use of the word 'groovy'. I wonder now why the hell I used that word , I mean my 50 year old Mother uses that word. I just realised that this post has gone absoutely no-where. So I am thinking maybe it is time to rap it up. So yeah not only was this an epic fail but it was also extremely pointless. I NEED TO THINK OF GOOD THINGS TO WRITE ABOUT!!! do you agree? I probably predict that you do!

Audrey Hepburn I applaud you. I just finished watching Breakfast at Tiffanies this afternoon with a friend. It is about the 100th time I have seen it and I love it more and more everytime I see it. After venturing to the city (Sydney) today I was shocked at the alarming amount of hipsters walking the streets. Personally I generally find hipsters to be over-rated. Of course they have good music taste , are usually intelligent , have a good sense of fashion and let's not forget beautiful but let's not forgot that they are also usually very up themselves and shockingly vain. I have decided that I am offically in life with this show. I have been watching it since I was 12..pretty sad I know. The Smiths...

The Smiths a pretty good band. Not exactly overly good or overly bad. They are nothing special. I admit this post will probably cause quite the uproar considering thousands of people consider The Smiths to be their favourite band. I mean I admit that I will occasionally listen to the few Smiths songs I have on my ipod but that is only ever once a month or less. You are probably wondering why I think you would actually care about this topic , well to tell you the truth I don't. BUT if you are ever bored or have nothing to do look up "meat is murder" by the smiths on youtube or over itunes. After listening to that classic example of a shitty Smiths song you might not consider them to be your favourite band anymore.....

Blogspot and why it fails

So I was basically just looking through other people's blogs on this site. I mostly discovered photography , family and business blogs which is fine and dandy I suppose but I wasn't exactly that interested. I can't exactly talk my whole blog is completely pointless and will probably won't even be read. I then decided to have a peak at some of the more popular blogs on this site and I came across a few more personal blogs. I read some of the posts people had made but once again nothing interested me. I mean people were posting reviews on their latest handbag purchases or the book they had read on the weekend and I was kind of like...well we don't exactly care. Of course I respect them for being able to put their opinion and views out there and I was intrigued to why they would even think that the posts they were making were actually interesting people. That's when I realised the meaning of blogging-well the meaning for most. People just want to get their "story or opinion" out there , out into the world. So they decide to write hundreds of posts of every single aspect to their life thinking it will interest the audience but really the audience doesn't care because the majority of the viewers have their own blog on this site and they don't care what anyone else posts because they are only ever considering their own blog. I know it sounds confusing but it sounds right in my head.

100 Things I dislike
1. How they always use "Your're the voice" by John Farnham for election ads (This only really applies to those living in the land of Australia)
2.That stupid Josh Groban song, "You Raised Me Up," which every aspiring singer on TV apparently must try to reproduce/cover. It was a crappy song to begin with , so what exactly are you attempting to achieve.
3. The word "indie" or the music genre "indie".
4.Elevator doors that close slowly.

6.Days that start out sunny and go cloudy , especially when your at the beach soaking up the sun.
7. Bad covers of good songs , completely destroying what was once a piece of art
8. How Australian idol or any other 'idol shows' that keep on reappearing every year , there has been like 6 seasons I am pretty sure there isnt anymore talent out there!
9.People who attempt to do an accent but fail miserably. I am pretty sure that I do this all the time!
10. People who think they are really good at something but really they are not. I just feel sorry for that person
11. How holidays always manage to go too quickly , a sad but true fact of life.
12. Eating too much of one type of food
13. Days when you are really bored and you can't think of anything you can do!
14. When someone tells a really bad joke and you have to pretend to laugh
15. The song "shake it" by metrostation which still manages to be on my ipod from year 7. I actually decided to delete it today!
16. One word : school or work for that matter. Wait thats more than one word...oops
17.When you get on the bus and the bus drivers give you a massive lecture about forgeting your bus pass or not having the correct fare. No one is perfect!
18. Waking up early , especially when you went to bed late.
19.People who only like certain songs or artists because they are considered "cool" or "hip".
20. The word hip or groovy!
21.Those glasses with the thick rim that "arty" people tend to wear or people who attempt to be arty! I especially hate those people who go to a 3D cinema and receive the 3D glasses and decided to pop the lenses out so they can avoid having to purchase the proper glasses. Stop trying to look like Buddy Holly!
22.People who make up their owns words like abso-toodle-utely or manabananabulimicchick.
23. People who get angry when you use their made up words , well I am sorry but it isnt my fault that you always use your made up words thus brainwashing me to use them.
24. People who quote other people or themselves because they think it is funny.
25. The Black Eyes Peas. I wouldnt even consider their "music" , music.
26.Slow computers or slow internet.I am a victim to this abuse!
27. Rainy or cold days in summer and hot and sunny days in winter. We have seasons for a reason!

49. 5 gum , I dont see how it is any different to any other type of gum. Why dont you go out and buy some 99c gum and save some money. 5 gum is like the designer gum of the gum industry.
50. Pens that don't worked or did work but decided not to especially in the middle of a test when you can't ask for another one.
51. Having cold feet or hands. It is even worse when only one hand is cold , most messed up thing ever!
52. Meeting up with someone and they are late! and they don't bother calling or texting.
53.Singing too loudly and everyone stares at you , especially when you are like me and you can't sing for shit.
54. Going to the movies and seeing a sad movie and others people in the cinema start crying. Bad personal experience.....'My Sister's Keeper' , you get the idea.
55. Not being able to think of anything else to add to this list.
56. Having maths first period or last perid!
57. People who ask you "does my hair look okay?" or "is this outfit okay?" I never know what to say! It just makes everything extremely awkward.

68.People who use the term "tut tut"!

71. Parents who ask you to clean your room one too many times.
72. Songs that are meant to make you feel good about yourself such as "Dont worry be happy", it is just so fake!

74. Listening to 80s music ,especially 80s rock. I can't stand those guitar or sax solos.
75. People who eat ice creams in winter or hot chocolates in summer. Doesn't make any sense!
